The Cutter/draper will be responsible for pattern drafting and/or draping patterns for costumes built in the Costume Studio. They are responsible for taking the design and turning it into a wearable garment. These responsibilities include pattern making,instructing the first hand and/or stitchers on how to construct and finish the costumes,and in some cases constructing the costumes themselves. They may also be responsible for instructing practicum students on construction techniques. This position will be responsible to help with any costume studio project needs including costume storage maintenance,studio cleaning and maintenance,equipment repair and maintenance,and any other studio projects that may be needed.
