Role Purpose

GKN Automotive is seeking an SAP S/4HANA Data Management Senior Data Lead who will manage Data teams, provide expertise in Data Management, Data Migration and contribute to the successful implementation of SAP S/4HANA in all GKN Automotive plants.

Accountable for the end-to-end Data Governance and Data migration process between System Integrator and local business teams and co-ordinates data sign-off by the business. Responsible for defining the Data Strategy, Data Governance and data migration scope, approach, and criteria for each country within a S/4 HANA implementation. Manages the business and Systems Integrator data teams and ensures that transparent tracking and reporting of status is captured. Aligns the data plan to the overall implementation plan and prioritizes resources as required to ensure a Data Readiness and Data quality.

Key Responsibilities

• SAP S/4HANA Data Governance – Lead the Data Governance of SAP S/4HANA Master data and transactional data using SAP MDG or similar tools. Design and manage GKN Data governance processes. Manage and Control the Data Deliverables, Risks and issues. Ensure Data security and compliance with industry standards.

• Data Migration: – Provide technical leadership to the define the Data Migration approach and Plan. Guiding the Business and Data team on the Data Objects and migration process. Oversee the development and delivery of Data Migration custom solutions within the SAP environment and ETL tools.

• ETL process: - Conduct regular ETL process reviews to ensure adherence to Data Migration standards and best practices. Review and approve Data Extraction, Data Transformation and Data Load for all Master data and Transactional Data objects. Implement quality assurance processes to maintain the integrity, Scalability, and reliability of developed solutions.

• Data Management: - Lead the data management for Data Readiness, Data Quality Reporting, providing guidance on and supporting Data Purification, Data Constructs, Data Mapping, Data testing, Readiness for Mock Data loads, coordination of pre and post Data Validation, Data Migration and Cutover.

• Technical documentation: – Define the Data standards and best practices for Data Object list, ETL, custom build for data migration. Review and approve the Data Deliverable documents.

• Collaboration with Business and Functional Teams: - Collaborate with functional teams, Local Business teams and SI Integrator to ensure the business requirements are correctly translated into technical solutions.

To be successful in this position, you will have:

• Played a role of Data Lead in 6-7 SAP ECC or S/4HANA implementation projects, preferably in multiple locations/ regions.

• Extensive knowledge and experience in SAP Data Governance, Data Migration Cockpit, LTMC, Direct System Connections and Staging DB.

• Experience with ETL tools such as BODS,

• Extensive knowledge and experience in migration of Data from Legacy systems using MDG to S/4 HANA, IBP, ARIBA etc.

• Leading onsite & offshore Data team from multiple locations.

• Understanding the business scenarios for all modules from SAP perspective to meet Data specific solutions.

• Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills. Strong leadership and communication skills.

• SAP S/4HANA certification in relevant areas are preferred.

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

Language Skills: Good English language – both verbal and written
