Technology Strategy and Transformation (TST)

The Technology Strategy and Transformation (TST) team is responsible for defining the Mastercard Technology strategy and driving the program management to deliver it. In addition, the team drives continuous improvement across Technology with a focus on “ways of working”, tooling and technology upgrades, telemetry, and financial transparency as well as advanced analytics and AI.

• Define and communicate the Mastercard Technology strategy

• Enable strategy execution through program management, tooling, and technology

• Create financial, operational and performance telemetry to drive continuous improvement

• Leverage advanced analytics and AI to drive insights and enhance decisions

As a Program Manager on one of our teams, you may:

• Support the execution of multiple complex initiatives across geographies, in a coordinated way from inception through successful delivery

• Support program’s successful adoption of Jira cloud by providing best practice guidance, onboarding assistance, and owning issues to resolution.

• Work across multiple teams (may be cross-cutting across programs, business/engineering teams, and/or technologies or work may be vertically focused on a single program within a domain) to drive technology strategy alignment and partnership against complex objectives

• Proactively mobilizes, orchestrates, and accelerates complex initiatives with dependent organizations to ensure successful execution and completion

• Identify, collect, synthesize and communicate risks and blockers in a concise, accurate, and professional manner for senior leadership to ensure alignment based on evolving priorities

• Regularly define and review key success metrics for data-focused tracking and proactively seek out new and improved mechanisms for visibility ensuring your program stays aligned with organization objectives

All about you:

• Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, computer science, information technology or related discipline preferred, or equivalent work experience

• 1+ years of experience with Jira cloud as a user or administrator desired.

• Strong interest in technology, especially through a data-driven lens. Interest in the payments industry a plus

• Solid ownership and continuous improvement mindset and excited to work in a small, high-impact team

• Strong organization, communication, and project management skills

• True team player and able to build relationships with people and teams across the organization

• Comfortable working side by side with our leadership to solve exciting problems together

In line with Mastercard’s total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary based on location, experience and other qualifications for the role and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role. Pay Ranges

O'Fallon, Missouri: $75,000 - $125,000 USD
