Responsibilities:
Junior level -
Provides overall management of project cost, personnel, planning, and scheduling
Implements quality control measures and ensure adherence to project standards
Assists in contract management and administration
Coordinates necessary activities to assure effective contract performance
Attends and actively participates in scheduled and unscheduled meetings
Acts with authority on matters relating to the daily operation of the effort, with emphasis on technology services for DoD programs
Supports the development and maintenance of project plans, timelines, and budgets
Assists in resource allocation and task assignment
Monitors project progress and report to senior management
Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure project deliverables are met on time and within budget
Intermediate level –
Provides comprehensive management of project cost, personnel, planning, and scheduling
Implements and oversees quality control measures to ensure project excellence
Directs and administers contract management activities
Coordinates all necessary aspects to assure effective contract performance
Attends and actively participates in scheduled and unscheduled meetings
Exercises full authority to act for the contractor on matters relating to the daily operation of the effort, with emphasis on technology services for DoD programs
Develops and maintains detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets
Manages resource allocation and task assignment across project teams
Monitors and reports on project progress, risks, and issues to senior management
Leads cross-functional teams to ensure project deliverables are met on time and within budget
Cultivates and maintains client relationships
Stays updated on relevant regulations, standards, and best practices in auditing and information security.
Senior –
Provide strategic management of project cost, personnel, planning, and scheduling for large-scale, complex projects
Develop and implement comprehensive quality control measures to ensure project excellence and client satisfaction
Oversee all aspects of contract management and administration
Coordinate and integrate multiple project components to assure effective overall contract performance
Attend and actively participate in high-level scheduled and unscheduled meetings
Exercise full authority to act for the contractor on matters relating to the daily operation of the effort, with emphasis on technology services for DoD programs
Develop and execute strategic project plans, timelines, and budgets
Manage resource allocation and task assignment across multiple teams and project components
Conduct thorough risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies
Lead and mentor cross-functional teams, driving performance excellence and professional development
Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships at senior levels
SME –
Provides expert-level management of project cost, personnel, planning, and scheduling for large-scale, complex technology projects
Develops and implements cutting-edge quality control measures to ensure project excellence and exceed client expectations
Oversees all aspects of contract management and administration, leveraging deep industry knowledge to optimize performance
Coordinates and integrates multiple high-priority project components to assure effective overall contract performance
Attends and actively participate in executive-level scheduled and unscheduled meetings
Exercises full authority to act for the contractor on matters relating to the daily operation of the effort, with emphasis on technology services for DoD programs
Develops and execute strategic project plans, timelines, and budgets, incorporating industry best practices and innovative approaches
Manages resource allocation and task assignment across multiple teams and project components, optimizing efficiency and effectiveness
Conducts comprehensive risk assessments and implement sophisticated mitigation strategies
Lead, mentor, and inspire cross-functional teams, driving performance excellence and fostering a culture of innovation
Cultivates and maintains strong client relationships at the highest levels
Serves as a technical advisor and subject matter expert in relevant domains
Qualifications:
Required:
Junior –
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline)
0-3 years of experience in project coordination or related field
Strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and Project
Basic understanding of project management principles and methodologies
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Keen attention to detail and ability to multitask
Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes
Intermediate –
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline)
3-8 years of experience in project management, preferably in technology services or defense-related projects
Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and project management software
In-depth understanding of project management principles and methodologies
Experience with financial reporting and budgeting
Familiarity with government contracting processes, especially related to DoD programs
Ability to obtain and maintain required security clearances
Senior –
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline)
8-11 years of progressive experience in project management, with a focus on technology services or defense-related projects
Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale, complex projects
Strong leadership, mentoring, and team management skills
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
Expert-level proficiency in project management software and tools
In-depth understanding of project management methodologies and best practices
Extensive experience with financial reporting, budgeting, and resource allocation
Comprehensive knowledge of government contracting processes, especially related to DoD programs
Ability to obtain and maintain required security clearances
SME –
Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related technical discipline)
At least 12 years of progressive experience in project management, with a focus on technology services for DoD programs
Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale, complex technology projects in government contracting environments
Recognized subject matter expertise in specific technical domains relevant to CACI's work
Exceptional leadership, mentoring, and team management skills
Superior communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
Expert-level proficiency in project management software, tools, and methodologies
Comprehensive understanding of federal acquisition regulations and processes
Extensive experience with financial reporting, budgeting, and resource allocation in complex project environments
Ability to obtain and maintain high-level security clearances
Desired:
Junior –
Familiarity with government contracting processes, especially related to DoD programs
Knowledge of Agile project management methodologies
Experience with project management software (e.g., Jira, Trello)
Internship or academic project experience in technology services or defense-related projects
CAPM certification or working towards PMP certification
Intermediate –
Master's degree in a relevant field
PMP certification
Experience with Agile and traditional project management methodologies
Knowledge of federal acquisition regulations and processes
Proficiency in risk management and quality assurance practices
Experience with earned value management systems (EVMS)
Senior –
Master's degree in a relevant field
PMP certification or equivalent

Ph.D. in a relevant technical field

Since this position can be worked in more than one location, the range shown is the national average for the position.
The proposed salary range for this position is:
$82,100-$172,400
