3 days a week in-office

We are looking for an Applications Engineer for a medical device contract manufacturer. This person will serve as a go-between of Sales and R&D working with field sales people and their customers to sketch out and prototype product designs and existing product modifications to an existing catalogue of offerings. This person will be responsible for drawings in SolidWorks, creating BOMs (bill of materials) in the ERP system, and releasing engineering documents. This role will communicate heavily with customers and travel on rare occasions (10-15% for critical needs) and collaborate with customers' engineering teams at times.

Skills and Requirements

-Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or closely related field

-3-8 years of experience in a similar Sales Engineering or Applications Engineering role

-2+ recent years of experience with SolidWorks

-Fundamental understanding of Bill of Materials (BOM, BOMs) how to put one together in a manufacturing ERP system

-Excellent personality, collaborative, open to design and product feedback

-Regulated industry experience (aerospace, automotive, med device, etc.) -Medical device regulatory experience

-Fluent in German null
