Job Title: Mechanical Assembler

Job Description

Prepare work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, specifications, and parts lists; gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials. Positions parts and subassemblies by following assembly instructions and drawings. Assembly components by mechanically fastening parts and subassemblies. Verifies specifications by measuring completed conveyor sections. Keeps equipment operational by completing preventative maintenance procedures, rules and regulations.

Hard Skills

• Ability to retain information with regard to standard assembly/disassembly procedures

• Strong mechanical aptitude

• Ability to read and interpret a tape measure

• Experience with hand tools such as ratchets, wrenches, battery and pneumatic operated tools

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Oconto, Wisconsin.

Work Environment

1st Shift 7:00 - 3:30 Monday - Friday. OT worked as needed (will be worked during typical week, no on weekends). Starting wage of $22/hr for assembly position with great upward mobility. Climate controlled shop.
