Job Description
Mount Sinai South Nassau Hospital is currently seeking Full-Time and Per-Diem Pediatric Hospitalists to join its hospital on Long Island.
The hospital is located at One Healthy Way, Oceanside, NY 11572, in a diverse community with excellent school districts and numerous cultural activities. Mount Sinai South Nassau Hospital is part of the Mount Sinai Health Care System and has been developing and expanding pediatric services. Our Hospitalists are responsible for the care of pediatric patients on the floor. They also provide coverage for the delivery room, nursery and [Level II] NICU along with our four (4) full time neonatologists . They supervise residents and medical students and are an important component of our educational program. As a Pediatric Hospitalist, you will be joining four (4) full time and three (3) per diem associates.
Qualifications
• Medical Degree from an Accredited University
• New York Medical License
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Pediatrics
• Excellent communication, bedside manner, and organizational skills
• A strong work ethic and desire to participate in a team-oriented, performance-driven Health System
Compensation range from 195K to 225K (not including bonuses / incentive compensation or benefits)

Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialties, historical productivity, historical collections, and hospital/community need. The salary range listed is for full-time employment and does not include bonuses / incentive compensation or benefits.

Designated a Magnet® hospital by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) for outstanding nursing care, South Nassau also offers Novalis Tx™ and Gamma Knife® radiosurgery technologies, and operates the only Trauma Center on the South Shore of Nassau County verified by the American College of Surgeons. MSSN has a large critical care and elderly patient population and a very busy hematology / oncology service as part of our renowned Feil Cancer Center which works closely with the NCI Cancer Program at Mount Sinai.
