Description We are seeking a dedicated Financial Reporting Manager to join our team located in Oceanside, California. This role primarily involves managing and supervising team members in processing payroll, and internal controls related to financial reporting, labor accounting, payroll, accounts payable, project accounting and invoicing, fixed assets, inventory, and tax compliance. The individual will work closely with the Chief Financial Officer to ensure accounting processes are compliant with US Government Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR).

Responsibilities:

• Manage, train, and supervise team members in processing payroll and internal controls related to financial reporting, labor accounting, payroll, accounts payable, project accounting and invoicing, fixed assets, inventory, and tax compliance.

• Prepare timely and accurate financial statements in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting.

• Ensure payroll is processed in a timely and accurate manner.

• Ensure that Accounts Payable are reviewed, approved, properly accounted for, and paid in a timely manner.

• Manage the company's project accounting processes and ensure that customer contract costs are properly accounted for, billed, and Accounts Receivable are collected according to payment terms.

• Work with CFO to ensure accounting processes are compliant with US Government Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR).

• Support the CFO in managing banking operations and internal controls over writing checks and approving wire transfers.

• Work with the CFO to identify and implement accounting systems continuous improvement plans.

• Work with the CFO and outside CPA to file accurate and timely tax returns.

• Prepare and file timely sales and use tax returns and 1099 tax reporting.

• Manage and maintain accurate files in support of Accounting Manager functional responsibilities.

• Provide ad hoc financial reports or related support as needed.

• Utilize Accounting Software Systems, ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning, ERP Solutions, Great Plains (GPAC), and Microsoft Office for daily tasks and reporting.

• Adhere to compliance and auditing processes, manage budget processes, and maintain balance sheet accounts. Requirements • Must possess a minimum of 3 years experience in a financial reporting role

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is essential

• Demonstrable knowledge of CapEx is required

• Experience with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is necessary

• Familiarity with ERP Solutions will be advantageous

• Understanding of Great Plains (GPAC) is beneficial

• Comprehensive knowledge of Accounting Functions is crucial

• Prior experience in Auditing is expected

• Proficiency in managing Balance Sheet Account is necessary

• Experience in Budget Processes is required

• Strict adherence to Compliance regulations is essential
