The Analyst I, Planning/Materials for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for purchasing assigned materials for Beckman Coulter Ireland Inc. from the approved supplier base and developing production/supply plans that take into account forecasts, availability of material and manufacturing capacity.

This position is part of the Materials/Planning department located in Lismeehan, O'Callaghan's Mills, Co. Clare and be based onsite with ability to work from home up to two days a week. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Manage supplier base with regular reviews and supplier scorecards, including focus on supplier validation and introduction.

• Plan assigned Finished Goods to meet set safety stock levels and customer demand in Distribution Centres.

• Review forecast updates and maintain manufacturing batch sizes in line with demand.

• Update weekly Manufacturing schedule and review with Formulation and Fill/Packing Operation

• Work with Finished Goods Planners to manage supply to customers.

• Learn our DBS tools and be involved in DBS best practice activities such as Kaizens, PSPs, etc.

  The essential requirements of the job include:

• Level 8 degree in Business Studies (or similar discipline) OR minimum of 6 years relevant experience in a similar role may be considered

• Highly numerate with a strong aptitude for data analysis and achieving high quality output

  It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience such as:

• Working in an MRP/MPS environment

• Working with Oracle Manufacturing

• Attainment of APICS Certification / IIPMM Diploma

• Involvement in visual planning / Lean Inventory management processes
