Lockheed Martin Material Control Supervisor in Ocala, Florida

Description:

You will be the Material Control Supervisor for the Material Control team for Missiles and Fire Control. Our team is responsible for managing multiple stock rooms and warehouses, and control all material movement throughout the site.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Material Control Supervisor, you will have leadership responsibilities on assigned program(s) with special focus on hardware movement in automated process environment. Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing status of hardware

• Monitoring material for timely release to factory

• Maintaining and monitoring all PP&C metrics

• Aiding in meeting all scheduled deliveries

This position is located in Ocala, FL Discover Ocala

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline.

• Related experience in material handling, control systems and Enterprise Resource (ERP) systems, preferably SAP.

• Lean manufacturing training and/or experience in a production environment.

• Position can/may require overtime, extended shifts and the possibility of working on Holidays. Candidates must be willing to support this expectation.

• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.

Desired Skills:

• Working knowledge of/and experience with OSHA 1910.178

• (APICS) Certification

• Previous leadership experience in production environment

• Knowledge of industry-wide best practices and processes for managing material flow throughout the entire production supply chain.

Previous experience managing a represented workforce

Preferred disciplines such as Production Operations Management and Supply Chain Management.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
