Our Gov Sec Defense Team supports our Nation’s warfighters, providing, operating, and assuring critical voice, video and collaboration services for the full spectrum of military operations.

AT&T has an opening for Lead Gov Security to support our Federal Segment, Defense Program Office at our Oakton VA office.

The job duties are as follows:

  • Act as professional government security support across a broad spectrum of security disciplines; personnel, physical, procedural, and classification management, to enable diverse program activities and personnel executing USG contracts.

  • Serve as the official program security officer for multiple USG programs performed at multiple AT&T and government customer locations.

  • Provide personnel security support (to include acquisition and maintenance of clearances at varying levels) to AT&T employees and subcontractors.

  • Counsel and advise personnel regarding situations and circumstances related to maintaining their clearance.

  • Partner with program management and government security colleagues to identify and resolve potential risks to sensitive program and customer operations; maintaining and expanding relationships with customer security authorities to facilitate security issues important to AT&T business.

Required Clearance:

Must be a US Citizen and have the ability to obtain a Secret and potentially Top Secret clearance. (#clearable)(#secret) (#topsecret)

Required Qualifications:

Requires knowledge and experience with personnel security disciplines, interrelated with knowledge of/experience with multiple USG agency industrial security policies, procedures, and processes.

Desired Qualification:

Experience and with Public Trust processing.

Our Lead Government Security's earn between $98,000 - $116,000. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
