Job Title: Welder - 2nd Shift

Job Description

Seeking skilled welders for contract opportunities with the potential for permanent positions based on performance. This role involves performing Mig, Stick, or Fluxcore welding on structural steel components for a high-profile project. Welders will work according to blueprints, work orders, or verbal instructions, ensuring precise and technical welds using a flux core machine. Responsibilities include regulating machine temperature, gas, and speed, along with basic troubleshooting.

Hard Skills

• 6 months of welding experience

• Mig welding

• Stick welding

• Fluxcore welding

• Ability to use welding hood and equipment

• Knowledge of machine troubleshooting

Soft Skills

• Strong attendance

• Positive attitude

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 18 Week(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Oakland Park, Florida.

Work Environment

Outdoor shop environment covered by sheet metal, which can be loud and dirty. Work hours for 2nd shift are Monday to Thursday from 4:30 pm to 2:00 am, Friday from 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm, with optional Saturdays. Candidates must have their own welding hood and wear steel toe boots.
