Insight Global Project Manager II - Process Improvement in Oakland, California
Job Description
Evergreen, Insight Global's Manage Service Division, is seeking a skilled and proactive Process Improvement Project Manager to support our local utility partner to support with a Process Improvement effort for their GIS & Engineering Technology Solutions team. This role involves managing and consulting on GIS process development projects to ensure efficient and high-quality work management. The ideal candidate will work closely with stakeholders, IT partners, and internal teams to drive process improvements, develop content, and implement policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Process Consultation:
Provide GIS consultation in process development to ensure efficient and complete solutions.
Project manage process improvement initiatives, including scheduling, impact assessment, and education planning.
2. Content Collection:
Review existing materials to evaluate content availability and structure.
Develop and maintain a Content Inventory Tracker and Content Question Log.
3. Stakeholder Engagement:
Conduct multiple stakeholder meetings to evaluate content completeness and accuracy.
Establish content requirements, including sections, layout, languages, and visuals.
Discuss and reconcile content gaps with stakeholders.
4. Layout and Configuration:
Build content frameworks and wireframes to ensure stakeholder alignment.
Design section layouts, reserve visual spaces, and determine official sizing and length.
Obtain sign-off for layout and content expectations from stakeholders.
5. Content Development:
Create first drafts of all expected content.
Engage with stakeholders to align on the first draft of deliverables and take notes on necessary changes.
6. Iterate and Improve:
Leverage stakeholder feedback and internal project management review notes to iterate content to its final state.
Work side by side with current process owners to identify unknowns, work towards improvements, and implement policies.
7. Process Ownership:
Act as the process owner for four key processes, identifying gaps and making improvements.
Write statements of work and develop policies and procedures.
8. Communication with IT Partners:
Communicate requirements to IT partners to ensure successful execution of projects.
Coordinate back-and-forth testing with IT partners and business users, focusing on end-to-end testing and integrations.

Skills and Requirements
Proven experience in process improvement project management or a similar role.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Familiarity with GIS and process improvement methodologies.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with content management systems and documentation tools.
Knowledge of wireframing and layout design.
Understanding of IT systems and integration processes. Will be in person at least 1 day per week at the Oakland, Ca office null
