VCA Broadway Animal Hospital is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to complement our talented team in Oakland, California .

VCA takes pride in expanding the growth and skill set of new veterinarians. We welcome newly graduated veterinarians (and current veterinary students) to apply to this position, where they will receive individualized support with our 6-month mentorship program and a collaborative hospital team environment.

Our ideal candidate will be an experienced veterinarian and/or a recent internship-trained graduate. However, we will consider confident new graduates and offer an extensive mentoring program.

This is a busy, team-oriented practice for both wellness and urgent care. It provides a great opportunity to see numerous emergent cases as well as a great assortment of general practice cases. Our beautiful, state-of-the-art facility is well-equipped and welcoming. Our well-trained and compassionate staff, including tenured RVTs and the VCA management team, are here to support you in providing the very best options for your clients.

Our doctors work 4 days/week on varied schedules.

Oakland is a booming and unique city just across the San Francisco Bridge. It is the ultimate urban environment - great restaurants, bars, shops, and culture - with the expansive East Bay Regional Park System located on its eastern border for its nature-loving and environmentally conscious citizens. Many other state and regional open spaces are nearby, and we are within a couple hour's drive to the rugged California coast, Napa wine country, and Sierra Nevada skiing.

Compensation is negotiable based on education, experience, and other relevant credentials. The annual salary range for this position is $66,560 - $200K. This position may also be eligible for other variable pay programs.
