Technology Manager - IoT (Internet of Things)

We are seeking an experienced Application Development Manager with a strong background in the Internet of Things (IoT) to oversee our cloud team. This role involves managing the ongoing updates and changes within an IoT environment, specifically relating to Azure cloud services.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have robust technical management experience, specifically within an onshore/offshore model. Currently, we have 28 team members, 10 of whom are based in the US, managing hundreds of thousands of devices reporting data in real time.

This person will also contribute to the development strategy, implementation methodology, and perform cost-benefit analysis for new projects and expenditures. Knowledge of IoT platforms developed on Azure is highly desirable (5-10 years' experience, Azure IoT certification).

A deep understanding of real-time data streaming and the handling of large data volumes is essential in this role. Experience with big data, Azure Synapse, and Databricks is advantageous. We are rapidly expanding with an increase to hundreds of thousands of devices with heavy data consumption.

Lastly, the ability to leverage the data that flows in from these devices for real-time business intelligence and quick customer turnaround time is highly sought after in potential candidates.
