The Alaka`ina Foundation Family of Companies (FOCs) has a potential need for multiple positions in Information Technology (IT) Support Services to support our Navy customer with Information System operation and technical support located in Oahu, HI. All positions require a Secret Security Clearance.

Positions May Include:

Senior Network Engineer

Education/Experience - 1- 2 years’ experience in processing Naval messaging delivery in accordance with customer profiles via email folders. Experience and familiarity with Naval Messages and/or USMTF message formats. Experience drafting Naval Messages or familiarity with distributing / delivering / profiling messages (using an automated message profiling system). Experience serving as first level support for users via phone or email. Working knowledge of Windows workstation OS and moderate to advanced knowledge and experience with a client email such as Window's Out-look. Functional knowledge of LMDS Mailroom, DMDS system operations and interface to C2OIX.

Applications System Analyst/Programmer (Senior)

Education/Experience - 2-3 years’ recent experience in System Administration Services and Network Administration services. Experience performing Information Assurance Vulnerability Assessment (IAVA) security updates, including testing and deployment. Performing system security hardening to ensure that the sever systems are in compliance with their Certification and Accreditation Authorization to Operate. Experience in analyzing and interpreting the applicable Security Technical Implementation Guidelines (STIGs), document findings, and implement remediation and/or mitigations in ac-accordance with DOD policies.

COMPTIA Security + certification required

BS in computer science or information systems - preferred

Computer Systems Analyst

Education/Experience - 2-3 years’ recent experience in application development, SharePoint and web hosting. Cloud experience is beneficial but not mandatory. Relevant/recent experience with Object-Oriented Design, relational database modeling, web application programming. Knowledge of programming and have the expertise in at least one major programming language (C/C++, Java, C#/ASP.NET, Ruby, Python). Knowledge of SQL, be able to create databases, tables, queries, forms and reports. Knowledge of MS SQL Server and MySQL databases. Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems. Knowledge of interfacing databases with operational systems.

COMPTIA Security + certification required.

BS degree in Computer Science or Information Systems (or related field) is required.

Education/Experience - 5 years of relevant/recent executive conferencing support and VTC and conference center Audio visual system operations and maintenance. Personnel performing this task shall have in-depth knowledge of Audio/Video and Teleconferencing equipment to include Direct Light Light-Emitting-Diode (LED) video display walls, VTC Coder/Decoders (CODECs), inverse multiplexers, VTC high-definition cameras and micro-phones and be knowledgeable in Auto Cad or equivalent.

Instructional Designer

Education/Experience - Video Teleconference training for end points (CO-DECS) and Conference bridges through formal or on the job training. Experience must be recent within a year. Personnel performing this task shall have in-depth knowledge of Audio/Video and Teleconferencing equipment (ISDN and IP), VTC Coder/Decoders (CODECs), inverse multiplexers, VTC high-definition cameras and microphones. Personnel must have recent experience within the last year of providing Video conference bridge management and VTC conference room setup services.

Project Manager

Education/Experience - Requires 6+ years of project management experience. Requires project management experience with Department of Defense contracts supporting the US Navy with the Navy-Marine Corp Intranet (NMCI) with site integration and sustainment. Requires recent experience working with the NMCI/Next Generation (NGEN)/Navy Enterprise Networks (NEN) Program Office in the implementation and sustainment of Enterprise processes and procedures. Requires experience with NMCI Continuity of Services and NGEN contract transitions to include experience resolving issues and contractual discrepancies. Must have the ability to integrate across organizational boundaries to implement COMPACFLT’s strategic vision.

Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) V3 Foundation certification - preferred.

Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification - preferred.

Knowledge of COMPACFLT’s N6 internal business practices - preferred.

Senior Information Engineer

Education/Experience - 2 -3 years’ Experience in IT portfolio management. Requires recent administrator/lead experience with DoD Information Technology Portfolio Repository for the Department of Navy (DITPR-DON). Recent hands-on experience with submitting/managing Navy Information Technology Approval System (NAV-ITAS) Information Technology Procurement Requests (ITPRs) and NAV-ITAS processes and policies. Must have the ability to integrate across organizational boundaries to implement COMPACFLT’s strategic vision.

Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification - preferred.

Project Manager

Education/Experience - 3-5 years’ experience that demonstrate verbal and written communication skills to communicate with the Echelon I enterprise solution leads, peers, and customers. Requires current administrator/subject matter expert (SME) experience with DON legacy network/data center consolidation; DON Cloud computing efforts; and transition to NMCI/NGEN ser-vices. Current experience with other DON enterprise solutions/databases such as DON Applications and Database Management System (DADMS/DITPR-DON), DoD Information Technology Investment Portal (DITIP), Program/Budget Information System-Information Technology (PBIS-IT); formerly Naval IT Exhibits/Standard Re-porting [NITE/STAR]). Recent hands-on experience with submitting/managing Navy Information Technology Approval System (NAV-ITAS) Information Technology Procurement Requests (ITPRs) and NAV-ITAS processes and policies.

Technical Subject Matter Specialist

Education/Experience - Requires a minimum of four (4) years of experience providing direct NMCI/NGEN Operations and Project Management. Experience working with NMCI Moves, Adds, Changes (MACS) types and NMCI CLIN structures. Able to lift 40bs and relocate various IT equipment. Knowledge of CPF NMCI IT infrastructure, sufficient to advise customers on the ordering of technical solutions, hardware and software. Have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision, prioritize multiple tasks, meet established deadlines and produce quality work. Knowledge of DOD/DON Information Assurance (IA) principles and procedures. Have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision, prioritize multiple tasks, meet established deadlines and produce quality work.

Applications System Analyst/Programmer (Senior)

Education/Experience - 5+ years of overall logistics and asset management experience preferred. Requires a minimum of four (4) years of experience providing direct NMCI/NGEN Operations and Project Management services to Navy units. Able to lift 50lbs and relocate various IT equipment. Have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision, prioritize multiple tasks, meet established deadlines and produce quality work. Knowledge of a) Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) Clauses 252.211-7003 and 252.211-7007. b) DoDI 5000.64, Accountability and Management of DoD. Equipment and Other Accountable Property, May 19, 2011 and c) MIL-STD-130N, DoD Standard Practice Identification Marking of US Military Property, December 17, 2007.
