The Account Manager is responsible for executing the company's direct sales strategy and sales plans within their assigned territory to achieve territory sales revenue and budget objectives.

Under limited supervision of the Area Sales Director and/or Regional Business Manager and in accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws/regulations and Corporate Integra LifeSciences, procedures and guidelines, this position:

  • Proctor Acclarent-trained physicians during their initial procedures to provide guidance, gather procedure data, and recommend training certification when ready, and provide customer feedback on the Company's products to Marketing applicable to tasks performed by the holder of this job function.

  • Will be trained to understand and demonstrate proper use of our products to ENT Physicians in an operating room, private practice, and/or ASC setting.

  • Position requires the ability to handle customer questions and objections in a way that is consistent with product indications and sales training methodology.

  • Position will be expected to execute the selling cycle in a manner that is concise, professional, ethical, and which leads the customer to action.

  • Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level.

  • Drives collaboration and maintains consistent, open lines of communication across the assigned responsibilities with the local commercial sales team and other internal and external partners.

  • Develop and share best practices with US Field Sales and Service colleagues and internal partners.

  • Develop and grow mutually beneficial customer relationships within and beyond the Hospital Operating Room, ASC, and ENT Office, including, but not limited to physicians, nurses and technicians, clinical and hospital administrators and staff.

  • Stays current on company products instructions for use (IFU), best practices and technical troubleshooting, as well as relevant scientific clinical literature and new product information.

  • Prioritize and appropriately respond to requests in a high-stress environment. Maintain composure and problem-solving focus during stressful interactions.

  • Engage in diagnostic dialogue with multiple internal and external business partners and stakeholders. Formulate solutions based on dialogue and input gained during session.

  • Perform administrative work, including managing account documentation, compliance training requirements, expense reporting, and Company system input.

  • Responsible for ensuring subordinates follow all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices and that all resources needed to do so are available and in good condition.

  • Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures.

  • Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level.

  • Responsible for ensuring that subordinates follow all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices and that all resources needed to do so are available and in good condition, if applicable.

  • Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures.

  • Other responsibilities as required or assigned by manager.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree and at least 4 years of outside sales experience

  • Valid driver's license issued in one of the 50 United States

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Ability to work well as part of a team

  • Ability to work within a commission-driven position with the ability to meet and exceed sales goals

  • Ability to travel as necessary, which may include overnight and/or weekend travel/work is required

  • Preferred:

  • 3+ years of experience in medical device sales, including startup experience selling game-changing technology

  • 3+ years of experience selling to surgeons in a Hospital Operating Room, ASC, and ENT Office environment, preferably with experience calling on ENTs

  • Experience introducing market development programs to physician practices

  • Experience in understanding of market development and reimbursement

  • Strong local relationships within the healthcare community in the specified geographic area
