Your future role.

  • You advise on all occupational health and safety issues, in particular in accordance with Section 6 of the Occupational Health and Safety Act, and thus ensure compliance with the requirements of occupational health and safety and accident prevention in accordance with the requirements of specialist laws and guidelines. Also, in the implementation of legal and trade association requirements.

  • Lead and coordinate the EHS management system for Customer Service (CS), including in the planning, implementation, analysis, and continuous improvement of EHS related actions and projects in the CS organization. You will lead learning teams in response to EHS incidents and conduct/validate accident investigations to determine root cause and proactive solutions.

  • You are responsible for conducting EHS audits within our CS organization and maintaining the management system including the creation of regulations and specifications in the area of EHS.

  • In your role, you will enable managers to assess the specific occupational safety requirements and document them as part of the risk assessments. You will coordinate the training of safety officers and managers on the topic of occupational health and safety.

  • You will support the implementation of our internal EHS compliance tool to ensure smooth implementation.

  • You also review the implementation and execution of occupational health and safety, identify the most important hazards and analyze the risk potential. On this basis, you suggest improvements and develop safety standards and protection targets together with managers.

  • You will also support the IN CS BE & EHS Head in defining and implementing the global CS EHS strategy and roadmap together with company representatives, in line with our environmental, health and safety ambitions.

  • You will participate in the development and implementation of EHS training programs, retraining measures and support communication activities.

  • You advise the CS regions worldwide on all EHS issues. In the event of occupational accidents and near misses in the regions, you will provide support in analyzing and defining protective measures.

  • Analysis of the monthly reports with feedback to the respective country EHS organizations. Exchange with the regions and coordination of support services.

  • Creation and tracking of KPI's in CS BE&EHS.

  • Creation of CS EHS campaigns, surveys, and support policy creation from the central IN EHS.

Your profile.

  • You have a degree (minimum: Bachelor's degree in natural sciences or engineering, desirable: Master's degree) and many years of professional experience in the field of EHS.

  • Ideally, you will also have completed training as an occupational safety specialist.

  • You have several years of professional experience as a safety specialist (in terms of EHS).

  • Additional training in EHS, such as radiation protection, laser protection or hazardous goods as well as experience in environmental protection (emission and water protection) may be an advantage.

  • You have experience and a proven understanding of EHS-related requirements, are strong in analyzing and structuring challenges and have a clear and goal-oriented demeanor.

  • You have experience and proven success in the implementation of large projects/programs as well as affinity and experience in dealing with digitization solutions, applications, and data analysis.

  • Personally, you convince with your decision-making, communication and teamwork skills, you’re planning and organizational skills, and you also work independently.

  • You are business fluent in written and spoken German and English.
