What’s the role?

We are seeking a creative, omnichannel designer to join our dynamic team, working across content for Commonwealth Bank. In this role, you’ll provide design support to the Creative Director, working on design elements and deliverables across digital and social projects.

You’ll be joining a talented and passionate team of content creatives and account managers. This is a hybrid role, based in our Pyrmont, Sydney offices but with the opportunity to work part of your week remotely.

Key Responsibilities

  • Designs social and digital assets and edits videos while adhering to client guidelines and industry best practice

  • Picture research for various outputs

  • Photo editing & retouching

  • Creation of animated GIFs and motion assets

  • Assists in ideation for social, digital and video outputs

  • Innovates through new tech (AI) to deliver unexpected yet polished results

  • Manages post-production resources and quality of outputs where relevant

  • Designs and edits mocks, storyboards and other mood boards and visuals to deliver on campaign and content strategy

  • Contributes to content plans and pre-production decks, post-production delivery and asset management

  • Manages internal and external feedback and ensures correct approvals are obtained, within production deadlines

  • Works collaboratively to align videography with photography across relevant projects

  • Under the guidance of the Head of Design and Creative Director, contributes to content quality and creative integrity of output ensuring all deliverables (WIPs and final) are quality-controlled and correct at all stages of production.

  • Occasional shoot assisting

Who are you?

  • Experience in a designer role, preferably in an agency setting.

  • Portfolio showcasing a breadth of visual design work.

  • Proficient in design software, such as Adobe Creative Suite, especially After Effects, and AI image manipulation tools

  • Strong creative vision with attention to detail

  • Strong organisational and time management skills

  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.

  • Willingness to embrace the nuances of client/branded content publishing

  • Genuine intention to exceed client expectations and work collaboratively.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Initiative around project management and pro-actively problem solves.
