Harman Becker Automotive Systems, Inc. seeks a Sr. Engineer, Quality & Reliability in Novi, MI.

Duties: Provide detailed analyses and evaluations (either by hands-on physical analyses or by theoretical predictions) of electronic components and Printed Circuit Board Assemblies (PCBAs) in the areas of design, material, structure, manufacture process, quality and reliability to help Harman make important decisions about:

• Component procurements and component/supplier selections'
• Quality and reliability assessment of components and solder joints in product design and manufacturing; and
• Continued improvements and Corrective Actions in all stages of Harman product life cycle.

The components will include (but not limited to):

• Printed Circuit Board, mechanical and mechanical-electrical components;
• Passive components, e.g., resistors, capacitor, inductors, and thermistor;
• Semiconductor devices, e.g., diodes, transistors, and integrated circuits.
