Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Software Developer with in-depth knowledge of Kubernetes to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, deploying, and managing scalable applications and services. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain our cloud infrastructure, ensuring the highest levels of performance and security.

Responsibilities

• Software Development: Design, code, and debug applications in various software languages

• Testing and Debugging: Perform detailed testing, troubleshooting, and debugging of software applications

• Code Reviews : Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to standards

• Kubernetes Management : Implement and manage Kubernetes clusters for deploying, scaling, and operating applications

• Kubernetes Testing : Create and execute test scenarios to validate Kubernetes-based deployments, configurations, and operations

• Documentation : Write and maintain technical documentation to describe program development, logic, coding, testing, and changes

• Collaboration : Work closely with other team members, including developers, designers, and product managers, to develop high-quality software solutions

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

• At least 2 years of professional experience in software development

• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration

• Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, Node.js)

• Strong understanding of Kubernetes architecture and components

• Experience with Docker and containerization technologies

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure Cloud)

• Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Argo CD

• Experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform

• Understanding of microservices architecture and design patterns

Salary transparency

Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $97,600 and $168,300. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
