Position Purpose
This position will provide input on risk and provide recommendations to mitigate risks, as appropriate. This position will focus on identification, analysis and remediation of fraud loss and exposure to the Credit Union.
Essential Duties
Assist in maintaining required reporting of BSA and other regulatory mandates.
Maintain and update interdiction software data and reports.
Review member behaviors to identify potential fraud.
Transaction analysis to mitigate Credit Union exposure to fraud trends.
Assist in investigations of fraud, anti-money laundering and/or suspicious activity.
Assist in recognizing and analyzing documentation to prevent loan fraud.
Assist Quality Assurance team in resolution of findings.
Make efficiency recommendations and procedure enhancement.
Review scheduled reports.
Collaborate on projects as assigned.
Index/scan paperwork into imaging system for easy retrieval.
Provides feedback to manager on results of suspicious or fraudulent behavior.
Remain current on knowledge of credit union policies, procedures, and best practices.
Assist in responding to and tracking Production Orders.
Communicating with law enforcement agencies and filing reports.
Other duties may be assigned.
Education/Experience
Minimum of three years credit union experience.
Willingness to obtain education pertaining to risk management as appropriate.
CUNA certification in BSA.

Strong analytical skills, to analyze appropriate security controls

Ability to interact cross functionally with all levels of personnel
