Job Summary:

The Financial Analyst will be responsible for analyzing financial data and providing insights to management to aid in making informed business decisions. Key role in budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and identifying trends that impact the organization's financial performance.

This position is primary remote with an expectation to travel to Novi, MI at least once per year. Additionally, any employee residing within 50 miles of Novi, MI is required to work in the office five days per month. Typical working hours will align with Eastern Time Zone. The job of Financial Analyst can be performed in the following states: AL, AZ, AR, CT, DE, FL, GA, ID, IL, IN, IA, KS, KY, LA, ME, MD, MA, MI, MN, MO, NE, NV, NJ, NM, NC, OH, OK, OR, PA, RI, SC, SD, TX, UT, VA, WI, and WY.

Essential Functions/Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Provide reporting and analysis support to management and field leaders to locate trends and risks to help predict future outcomes of the business.

• Assist in the development of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts. Monitor actual performance against budgeted figures and provide explanations for variances.

• Continue to make improvements to the current budgeting and forecasting process to increase efficiency and accuracy.

• Build complex financial models to evaluate schools/areas of focus across the portfolio.

• Prepare and present financial reports, dashboards, and presentations to management, highlighting key performance indicators and trends.

• Stay updated on industry trends, economic conditions, and competitor performance to provide insights into the company's competitive position.

• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Accounting and Operations.

• Prepare ad-hoc reporting and analysis to support key initiatives.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• No Direct Reports

Minimum Job Requirements & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration (Finance, Accounting, or related area) required.

• 1-3 years of business analyst experience required, preferably in Finance.

• Experience working with a multi-unit/multi-state environment preferred.

• Experience with Microsoft Office with a strong emphasis in Excel required.

• Experience with PowerBi and Hyperion/Oracle Cloud Preferred.
