TEKsystems ERP Functional Analyst in Novi, Michigan

Description

The ERP Functional Analyst collaborates with business stakeholders to understand their functional requirements and translates them into technical specifications. They design, develop, and implement solutions using Oracle Fusion tools, create technical design documents, and conducts the unit testing. Additionally, the individual in this position would provide customer service support, diagnose and resolve functional and technical issues, and cultivate and maintain strong customer relationships. Gathers technical and functional requirements by working with the business stakeholders to understand their needs and document the details. Analyzes, updates and maintains configuration workbooks and design documents on the existing business processes and identifies areas of improvement by proposing optimized solutions. Designs and develops functional specifications and solutions that meet the business requirements. Create and execute test plans, ensuring that systems are functioning as expected. Develops training material for support applications and conducts training sessions. Collaborate with co-workers to address complex issues, application support planning, and troubleshooting. Conducts analysis and completes fit-gap analysis for supported applications to support enhancements, patching, and upgrade activities. Develops custom reports to provide insightful business detailed reports. Develop, configure and setup workflows and the corresponding groups according to the business requirements. Develops, maintains, and supports integrations with our ERP application. Adheres to company policies, industry standards, and best practices while supporting ITC environment. Adheres to software project lifecycles utilizing approved development and project management methodologies. Adheres to SOX compliant internal control procedures. Supports the design, documentation, implementation, modification and monitoring of SOX compliant internal controls. Provide flexibility with work schedule to support after hours activities. Communicates effectively system issues to technical and non-technical staff; assembles, analyzes and evaluates business process data; uses data analysis skills and query tools to provide meaningful information to stakeholders.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Administration or other related field with a minimum of three (3) years of experience in a functional analyst role supporting HR, Payroll or similar audience with equivalent experience and/or education. Must possess sound research and analytical problem-solving capabilities. Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex issues to non-technical colleagues. Positive attitude towards collaboration. Willingness to work in a fast-paced, high-intensity environment, which may require longer hours. Working knowledge of the ERP systems detailed within the duties and responsibilities. Ability to multitask and balance workload based on business priorities. Ability to work with minimal supervision. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $65.00/hr.
