Erickson Living Dining General Manager - Full Time with Benefits! in Novi, Michigan

Fox Run is a beautiful 108-acre continuing care retirement community in Novi, Michigan. We’re part of a growing network of communities developed and managed by Erickson Senior Living, a national provider of senior living and health care with campuses in 11 states—and growing.

Compensation: Commensurate with experience starting at $65,000 annually.

The General Manager of Dining Services oversees all aspects of the mealtime preparation, service, and the overall efficiency of the kitchen, dining room, in-room, and meal service areas.

How you will make an impact:

  • Manage the dining program through meal service, menu development, preparation, and financial responsibilities

  • Hire, supervise and train the dining and kitchen staff

  • Coordinate with the clinical dietitian, train and orients the staff on dining our process

  • Assure the dining program complies with all Federal, State, and Local regulations

  • Ensure food and supplies are inventoried, ordered, received, and stored according to company standards

What you will need:

  • Minimum of five years food service management experience required, including production, service, and sanitation

  • College Degree in Restaurant Management preferred, but not required

  • B.S. degree in Restaurant Management, Dietetics or Institutional Management may be a substitute for up to one year of experience

  • Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) or equivalent. Must meet the state requirements as a director of foodservice
