Role summary : Industrial cost Specialist monitor industrial cost, adapt products cost of supply chain and materials cost variations and define cost for NPI and specific Project.

Essential Responsibilities

• Define standard costs for existing products.

• Cross-cutting support activities to R&D and Sales Departments, with continuous comparison with Sourcing and Procurement teams for costing of new products, Frame Agreements, Big Tickets.

• Saving proposal both on actual components, processes and/or redesign optimization.

• Monitoring of orders and/or material allocation to guarantee goods’ Certifications of origin.

• Analysis of delta between actual costs and planned ones during tendering stage to identify potential criticalities to company profits.

• Prepare both periodical and ad hoc reports to present and resume the collected data for management review.

• Market research to define the standard prices considering region-related conditions and corporate goals and criteria.

• Involved on Lean implementation: Identify continuous improvement opportunities which cover productivity, material flow, optimization shipment, inventory, lead time, etc., (all aspect that impact on product cost and project margin.
