You (Mechanical Assembly Engineer) are responsible for assembling brackets so that our coders can be integrated into our customer’s factory lines and will be located in Nottingham.

In this role, a typical day will look like:

• Mechanical assembly of a bracket, using 3D software to view a 3D model of the build

• Using our workshop machinery (lathe / miller / bandsaw / chop saw / linisher /drill presses) for basic metal work, e.g. to cut and prepare the length parts required for a build

• Assemble conveyors

• Work in a safe manner, according to HS Guidelines / Keep the area safe and tidy

• Basic machine maintenance / tidy / clean communal work areas on a flexible rota

• Loading jobs onto our 3D printers and cleaning up printed parts

The essential requirements of the job include:

• 5+ years engineering experience, including turning (lathe operating) and milling

• Previous experience in an engineering workshop environment

• Able to work to a deadline in a fast paced environment / under pressure
