The Opportunity

You’ve likely purchased or used a product touched by Videojet Technologies this week. From freshness dating to track and trace coding, our solutions help ensure food, beverages, pharmaceutical and other products sold across the world are authentic and safe.

Reporting to the Global Director for EHS & Sustainability, the EHS Manager is a hands-on role to advise, develop, implement, manage, and maintain Site EHS systems and Site Security Management Systems for the 5x Videojet UK & Ireland sites (250 staff across R&D, manufacturing, warehouse, distribution, and commercial field locations).

In this hybrid role (3 days a week in Nottingham / 1 day a month in Huntingdon / 2-3 annual visits to Ireland), the jobholder will engage and influence all site team members with EHS association, to support the management teams implement Videojet’s Site EHS.

You’ll monitor and deliver improvements, set up EHS training, ensure compliance with relevant statutory, regulatory, contractual and company requirements, and reduce the likelihood and severity of EHS events and Site Security breaches.

This brand-new position represents an excellent opportunity to make a significant impact and drive further positive EHS performance change at multiple sites within a company of Fortune 500 pedigree.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Proven record of successfully developing, implementing, and maintaining EHS systems, ideally in fast-paced, results-driven, multi-site companies

• NEBOSH Level 6 National Diploma for Occupational Health and Safety Management Professionals / NEBOSH Environmental Management Certificate / NEBOSH OHS Certificate etc, and well versed in UK EHS Regulation

• Exceptional communication, interpersonal and influencing skills to advise senior stakeholders and spearhead effective change and improvement

• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, planning and prioritization abilities to effectively operate within a busy, multi-site, standalone role

• Comfortable to undertake a hands-on approach with some EHS administration and filing

• Resides (or is willing to relocate) within commuting distance of Videojet’s Nottingham office
