In this role you will develop and support system solutions supporting the Finance organization and Enterprise Business Intelligence. Responsible for Vision & Roadmap, Project definition, and Managing a Cost Center to budget. You will also be resposible for building and leading a small team which both develops and supports solutions in three major areas including core Financials, Forecasting & Budgeting and Enterprise Business Intelligence.
Establish and refine support and development process
Build and develop team
Negotiate and manage vendor relationships for flexible resource capacity and project staffing
Manage a portfolio of the three programs within a PMO
Provide oversight and leadership to project teams
Hands-on technical expertise in utilized toolset
Critical Support Incident management
Role reports to the CFO or SVP of Finance, working closely with IT
Compliance to corporate standards for delivered solutions
Leads governance in delegated areas including Change Management
Leads Spreadsheet Risk Management program
10+ years leading/managing development, solution delivery, and support programs
Experience managing a 1M+ budget
Experience as a Consultant or Business Analyst on medium to large scale systems implementations, process reengineering, or other project-oriented work
Quickly understands business or technical issues along with the ability to frame effectively for management, and identify possible remediation.
Ability to multi-task and juggle priorities among different efforts/projects.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Proficiency with SOX 404 and Change Management
2 successful end-to-end Data Warehouse / Business Intelligence implementations
Expert in modern data preparation and visualization technology and practices like Tableau, Alteryx
Experience in managing and improving usage of Oracle (EBS, I-Proc, OBIA), Hyperion Planning implementations.
Experience in business process formulation/documentation including some or all of the following: Procurement, Accounting, and Financial Reporting
Prior experience with Oracle security model, especially as it relates to the Oracle EBS suite
Proven ability to interact effectively with users, business owners, upper management, vendors, and outside consultants during project scoping, requirements gathering, User Testing, go-live, and production support.
Experience working with an IT helpdesk and end users with diagnosing issues and resolving them
Working knowledge of accounting standards and principles a plus
Adaptable and agile; responds well to change.
Handles multiple demands / priorities effectively.
Collaborates and can develop and lead a team.
Excellent written/oral communication and presentation skills.
