Factset Research Systems Principal Product Manager (R24922) in Norwalk, Connecticut

Job location:New York, Norwalk (USA).

The Buy-Side Services team is responsible for ensuring the success and efficiency of our clients core middle office workflows. By leveraging our technology and industry expertise, we ensure the accuracy, consistency, and timely delivery of crucial data and insights to our clients, enabling them to focus on their core business functions.

We are currently seeking an experienced Principal Product Manager to lead the development and execution of our Core Services business. Our Core Services offering focuses on workflow monitoring and data validation, providing clients with the tools and expertise necessary to ensure the critical business decisions they make are based on updated and accurate financial information.

This individual will be responsible for our product strategy, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and delivering high-quality innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of our clients. The role requires close collaboration with several cross-functional teams including product, engineering, operations, sales, and marketing to employ a culture of continuous improvement and proactively enhance our offering.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the product strategy of FactSets Core Services business

  • Maintain and grow Core Services ASV (Annual Subscription Value)

  • Work closely with clients to uncover pain points and identify key opportunities to grow our Services footprint

  • Define the product roadmap and development priorities for our flagship Services products

  • Grow our Services product line to take advantage of both technology and people to solve complex client problems

  • Partner with our head of Performance, Risk and Reporting Services to deliver a cohesive go-to-market strategy

  • Work with our middle office product teams to determine key enhancements that can drive the user experience

  • Collaborate with leaders from Implementation and Operations teams to understand the resource impact of our Services and keep our margins within target

  • Manage expectations of key stakeholders both internally and externally

Job Requirements

  • 10+ years experience in Product Management, preferably at a finance or enterprise technology company

  • Bachelors degree in Business Management, Economics, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field

  • Proven track record managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle, with a focus on core product principles such as defining value proposition, hypothesis testing, and success measurement

  • Expert level proficiency with user research, problem/solution fit, and measuring value delivered back to users

  • Strong quantitative and qualitative data analytics understanding, with the ability to turn quantitative analysis into actionable recommendations with measurable business impact

  • Deep understanding of the workflows and requirements of institutional Buy-Side professionals

  • Analytical, methodical, inquisitive, and persevering mindset, with a focus on building solutions that satisfy the marketplace and clients

  • Experience with Agile methodologies to ensure efficient and effective product development

  • Comfortable communicating verbally and in writing to audiences of various sizes and seniority

The budgeted amount range for this position in the States of Connecticut and in New York City is $141,600- $187,000
