*This position is located in Norwalk, CT with expectation of travel every other week to the Home Fragrance office in South Deerfield, MA for a minimum of 2 days.

Position Summary:
The Associate Marketing Manager, Owned Channels, is a critical role on the Home Fragrance business, supporting the Yankee Candle Store and DTC businesses in the U.S. This role reports into the Senior Marketing Manager, Owned Channels while also assisting the Owned Channels Marketing Manager.
Responsibilities:
Be a true steward and power user of data, pulling key metrics, mining for strategic insights, understanding the underlying drivers and interaction of each metric, preparing reports and presentations to communicate key findings and hypotheses that inform decision-making.
Research market trends, competitor, and consumer insights to identify growth opportunities; review internal and external materials to develop a holistic, proprietary understanding of the home fragrance landscape in the U.S.
Support senior manager and manager in assigned projects within the annual brand planning process to establish fully integrated marketing plans and programming.
Work with cross-functional teams on the development and execution of key promotional windows based on target consumer behavior and competitor programs.
Collaborate on the conception and execution of end-to-end marketing programs against clear objectives for brand and business near and long-term success.
Assist in setting clear, measurable goals for integrated marketing programs, track and report program progress and apply ROI analysis against KPIs, as needed.
Support brief development for internal cross-functional partners and external agencies on business and communication objectives, Store and DTC activation needs, media plans, and tangible goals.
Execute brand activities in accordance with brand identity and guidelines (i.e. paid and organic media, store marketing and POS, promotional materials, influencers, PR, etc.).
Provide support tracking, reporting, and optimizing Loyalty program initiatives to help accelerate new users, drive enhancements to the rewards program to deepen consumer engagement, achieve lifetime value and drive brand affinity.
Ensure marketing communications are on-strategy, consistent, and in support of omni-channel consumer brand/product experience.
Provide support for assigned programs/categories including:
Working across internal partners to communicate product priorities, messaging, and program status updates across Stores and DTC
Partnering with cross-functional teams to define deliverable timelines, asset needs and creative across Store, .COM, digital, organic, print, PR and sampling to deliver on a cohesive, synchronized marketing plan
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in marketing and/or communications
2-3 years related marketing or brand management experience, preferably within CPG, Retail, or Marketing Agencies
Exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills including a pro-active approach
Team oriented with strong project management skills, and proven ability to lead and drive programs
Able to thrive in a dynamic, entrepreneurial, fast-paced, continuous improvement environment
The ability to generate positive direct relationships with internal and external business partners
Superb communication skills, oral and written, as well as strong presentation skills
Creative thinker with talent for developing novel solutions to meet business needs
The Connecticut base pay range forthis position is from $92,925 to $113,175. Salary will be based on prior experience related to the skills required for this position.
