Job Title: Warehouse Associate

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Associate to join our team. This role involves working Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. The ideal candidate will be responsible for receiving, unpacking, and organizing incoming materials, as well as maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive and unload incoming materials and verify the accuracy of shipments against purchase orders.

• Sort, count, package, label, and unpack inventory received.

• Inspect shipments for damages or defects, record discrepancies, and notify the supervisor.

• Pay close attention to detail and perform duties without delay.

• Organize warehouse space and maintain a clean and safe work environment.

• Complete audits and identify trends.

Essential Skills

• 1-2 years of experience in picking/packing.

• 1-2 years of experience in inventory control.

• 1-2 years of experience using paper pick sheets to locate materials.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience with Microsoft Excel.

• 1-2 years of experience with 'Ship Station', USPS, or UPS.

This is a Contract position based out of Northbrook, Illinois.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.00/hr.
