UL, LLC Manager Adobe Ecosystems in Northbrook, Illinois
Reporting to the Director of Performance Marketing, the Manager Adobe Ecosystem will manage internal and external resources to optimize all Adobe platform experiences from a technical perspective. They will play a pivotal role in optimizing processes, managing high-value enablement projects, and fostering team collaboration.
The Technical Manager of Adobe Ecosystem is responsible for overseeing the deployment, integration, and optimization of Adobe products, including Workfront, Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), and Creative Cloud. This role focuses on managing a team of system administrators, working in collaboration with IT, business administrators and marketers to design, implement, and refine processes and workflows that empower users and enhance overall efficiency. The Technical Manager will ensure that all Adobe platforms are seamlessly integrated to meet the evolving needs of the business while supporting innovation and driving continuous improvement. Success requires a focus on Adobe experiences and delivering a cohesive user journey across all platform touchpoints.
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of system administrators responsible for the configuration, maintenance, and support of Adobe Suite inclusive of Workfront, AEM, and Creative Cloud platforms.
Oversee the administration and optimization of the Adobe ecosystem, ensuring each platform is fully integrated and meets the needs of marketers, creatives, and business users.
Collaborate with business administrators, marketers, and other stakeholders to design and implement automated workflows and processes that increase efficiency and enable teams to meet their objectives.
Ensure seamless integration across all Adobe platforms and with other enterprise systems, working with IT and digital teams to maintain secure and reliable data flow.
Continuously monitor system performance, identify opportunities for optimization, and ensure that Adobe tools are being used to their full potential to support business goals.
Work closely with business administrators and cross-functional teams, including marketing, digital experience, and creative departments, to understand their needs and translate them into actionable technical solutions within the Adobe ecosystem.
Stay updated on the latest developments in Adobe products and emerging technologies, making recommendations for new features or improvements that can drive greater efficiency and value for UL Solutions.
Ensure that all systems and processes comply with legal, regulatory, and organizational standards, with a focus on maintaining the security and privacy of data.
Act as one of the primary points of contact for Adobe and other vendors, managing relationships, resolving issues, and ensuring the organization maximizes the value of its technology investments.
Develop and maintain reporting systems to track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to platform usage, system performance, and the success of workflow implementations.
Establish, develop and maintain scalable processes within the department that guarantee best practices.
Provide guidance, coaching, and mentorship to direct reports to enhance their skills and capabilities fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and continuous learning.
University degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications in Adobe platforms (e.g., Adobe Certified Expert) is a plus.
7+ years of experience in technical management, with significant expertise in Adobe Workfront, Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), and Adobe Creative Cloud.
Proven experience managing technical teams and leading cross-functional projects within a quickly evolving marketing organization.
Recognized leadership and change management skills that can navigate ambiguity.
Strong understanding of workflow automation, process development, and system integration across digital marketing platforms.
Excellent leadership and team development skills, with the ability to mentor system administrators and foster a collaborative environment.
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver on time and within budget.
Knowledge of IT infrastructure, security protocols, and compliance standards, particularly as they relate to digital asset management and creative workflows.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience in vendor management, including negotiating contracts and managing service-level agreements (SLAs).
Total Rewards: We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. The estimated salary range for this position is $111,200 to $135,000 and is based on multiple factors, including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, as well as other factors. This position is eligible for annual bonus compensation with a target payout of 20% of the base salary. This position also provides health benefits such as medical, dental and vision; wellness benefits such as mental and financial health; and retirement savings (401K) commensurate with the standard rewards offered in each individual location or country. We also provide full-time employees with paid time off including vacation (15 days), holiday including floating holidays (12 days) and sick time off (72 hours).
