Exciting opportunity to join a dynamic Fortune 5 Company, CVS Health, as part of the P harmacy Service (PS) accounting organization within the Health Services Segment. This position provides exposure to accounting and reporting functions. Candidates who will excel in this role are self-motivated and focused on continuous improvement.

Overview

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Pharmacy Services (PS) Controllers Group, the Manager, Accounting will oversee the financial operations and ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions. The Manager, Accounting will help develop a team that maintains the integrity of financial data, manages accounting processes, and participates in the preparation of statutory financial statements.

What you will do

• Analyze general ledger activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end/year-end closing processes.

• Preparation and review of accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

• Allocates work assignments, manages workloads, and ensures tasks are completed within deadlines.

• Assists with the development of team members by providing guidance, training, and support to foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment.

• Coordinates and supports external audits, providing necessary documentation and addressing audit findings.

• Assists with the development of financial policies and procedures to ensure adherence to accounting standards and regulations.

• Ensures compliance with internal controls and accounting policies. Identifies and implements process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.

Required Qualifications

• 5 or more years of experience in Finance, budgeting or equivalent combination of experience

• 5 or more years of experience using advanced Microsoft Excel skills

• Ability to work onsite 3 days a week out of one of the CVS hubs

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a corporate accounting department or public accounting experience

• Comfortable speaking to Senior Management and Executive Leadership

• Experience with SAP ERP products including SAP Analysis for Office (AO)

• Experience with Workday payroll

• Be an independent thinker with a proven ability to work with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail

• Possess the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities on a simultaneous basis

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$60,300.00 - $139,200.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
