Nestle Senior Performance Marketing Analyst (12-month contract) in North York, California

What to Expect:

The purpose of the role is to deliver exceptional data driven recommendations and insights for marketers across the organisation in order to build excellent consumer journeys with our family of brands. To do this you will be required to leverage a wide variety of data source, leaning on your strong analytical skills to draw connections and collaborate with stakeholders to continuously improve and strengthen your data understanding.

A day in the life:

In this role, you will support data-driven decision-making and improvements to the consumer experience by:

  1. Acting as the champion of the Consumer Connections program for Marketers and assisting with future reporting builds and new data integration to ensure well-balanced insights.

  2. Delivering timely on-demand and strategic consumer insights and projects to various internal stakeholders, including the Business Executive group, Brand and Category marketing groups, and Quality, Technical & Production groups.

  3. Assisting in the creation or refinement of key performance indicators (KPIs), benchmarking, and measurement for the internal Consumer Experience (CX) team, Consumer Engagement Services (CES), and Activation team, and developing research capabilities to gain a deeper understanding of our consumers.

You will also:

  • Utilize data to refine existing measurement and KPIs, as well as leverage research approaches to gain a deeper understanding of the consumer, particularly when tracking journeys across paid and owned platforms.

  • Identify data integrity gaps and implement remediation strategies to ensure data quality.

  • Participate in data reviews to identify new opportunities for analysis and data integration.

  • Own and enhance segmentation capabilities with our partner Environics.

  • Collaborate with various teams to ensure reporting needs are met and Nestle Consumer data is not siloed.

  • Extract and analyze CX 1st party data, create new reports, manage existing reports, and provide insight/commentary for Businesses, Brands, QA/Technical teams, NGBS, and CX team.

  • Create and deliver Consumer Connections presentations and on-demand reports to the supported businesses.

  • Act as a subject matter expert for the creation of new reporting capabilities, such as Marketing Dashboards through PowerBi and CX reporting capabilities.

  • Conduct requirements assessments and build new views/reports as needed, in partnership with appropriate stakeholders.

  • Educate users and marketers on how to leverage self-serve reporting, where applicable, to foster a data-centered culture

Role Requirements

  • Completed University Degree ideally in B. Comm, Statistics, Computer Science or similar field..

  • Demonstrated success in leveraging insight from multiple sources to help drive business planning and business strategy.

  • Proven problem-solving skills with the ability to glean insights and develop recommendations. This person must be a self-starter, detail oriented, and possess strong interpersonal, communication, project management and organization skills. Must be able to manage several complex priorities with strict deadlines and attention to detail.

Preferred Skills

  • 2-4 years reporting, analytical or research experience, with a minimum of 2 years in a marketing context

  • Exposure to key data sources such as Google Analytics, Social Media listening, Environics Segmentation, Media data, Ratings & Reviews data, Ecomm data (such as Shopify or Amazon) and Salesforce

  • Additional expertise with CPG or experience pulling insights for multiple distinct lines of businesses and operational processes.
