FPBH, Inc. is currently looking to hire a full time Civil Engineer to assist in the design and management of various construction projects. A qualified candidate should possess:
- A strong work ethic and sense of self-motivation
- The ability to work on multiple projects and meet multiple deadlines
- A desire to work for a growing company, motivated to assist the communities that we are working for
- B.S. in Civil Engineering, or similar degree
- Experience using CAD, Civil 3D, or other design software
- 3-5 years of experience in Engineering or Construction (Preferred)
- A candidate with experience in hydraulics and water/wastewater design is also preferred.
Job Duties would include:
- Initial Project Design, including drawings, permitting, and cost estimations for clients
- Research to ensure government compliance with all construction regulations
- Site inspection (as needed) and test monitoring to ensure construction standards are being followed.
- Preparing reports that are to be presented to clients before, during, and after construction.
- Occasional travel for client meetings and site inspections.
Applicants should be able to relocate or commute to our main office, located in North Vernon, IN, at least 2 days a week.
