Ink TechnicianMonday - Thursday, 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM$20-22/hr DOECPS Recruitment is working with a well-respected Syracuse area printing company to find an Ink Technician.  In this role, you will support the ink department to ensure efficient and uninterrupted press operations. Under the guidance of the Ink Technician Lead, you will be responsible for color matching, ink preparation, and maintaining the highest quality standards in ink production.Key Responsibilities:Prepare and mix inks following specified formulas for productionPerform color matching and adjustments to achieve desired shadesMaintain accurate records of ink formulations and usageMonitor ink inventory and coordinate with purchasing to reorder supplies as neededConduct routine maintenance and cleaning of ink equipmentTroubleshoot and resolve ink-related issues during productionEnsure compliance with safety regulations and proper handling of hazardous material.Collaborate with press operators and quality control teams on color or ink-related concernsParticipate in continuous improvement initiativesPerform quality checks on incoming ink suppliesManage waste disposal according to environmental regulations and company policiesQualifications:Minimum of 5 years of experience in an ink department, preferably in the flexographic and/or digital printing industryStrong aptitude for color differentiationExtensive knowledge of pressure-sensitive labels, shrink sleeves, flexible packaging, and RFID labelsExceptional communication and organizational skills with proficiency in computer applicationsProven ability to train and instruct coworkers and customers effectivelyCapability to stand for extended periods and perform tasks requiring reaching, twisting, bending, and stretchingExcellent hand-eye coordination and precise depth perceptionApply today to become a key player in this dynamic team!  Submit a resume to mfgresume@cpsrecruiter.com today! CPS Recruitment is an EOE#MFG24z
