DURA-LINE LLC Maintenance Technician (NSL) in NORTH SALT LAKE, Utah

SCHEDULE:

HOURS: 7AM-7PM ON A 2-2-3 SCHEDULE

Shift: Schedule:

  • WORK MON/TUE, OFF WED/THUR, WORK FRI/SAT/SUN
  • OFF MON/TUE, WORK WED/THUR, OFF FRI/SAT/SUN, REPEAT
  • Only Work 15 days a month!!!!
  • Every Other Weekend is a 3 DAY WEEKEND !!!!
  • One week you work 48 hours and the next week you work 36 hours
  • Total of 84 hours for a pay period and over 40 hrs is Overtime, Paid Bi-Weekly

PAY: $27.91/HR and up DOE

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Have a strong attention to detail, and 5S
  • Maintain all support equipment, Air and Lube systems.
  • Assist all departments with breakdowns.
  • Assist and/or perform adjustments on Looms, trouble shoot and repair.
  • Perform daily PMs, prioritize, close work orders.
  • Use volt meter, check and replace fuses, motor starter, replays, pumps, motors, both AC-DC and trouble shoot faulty electric circuits.
  • Assist the general maintenance crew with equipment rebuild, plant shutdowns and new equipment installations.
  • Maintain a net and orderly work area.
  • Follow all safety requirements of this position.
  • Perform all other duties as directed by management.

EDUCATIONAL AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum two years experience in mechanical industrial maintenance
  • Ability to use most hand and power tools required for this position: wrenches, torches, volt meters, drill press, band saw.
  • Light electrical ability, familiarity with plumbing, welding a plus.
  • Knowledgeable of state and local safety codes.

OCCUPATIONAL AND/OR PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to successfully complete certification training through Dura-Line
  • Ability to lift 60 - 70 lbs without assistance.
  • Ability to lift 100 pounds or more with our without reasonable assistance.
  • Ability to move from one area to another by stepping over and/or bending under objects, pushing and pulling objects

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Manufacturing environment
  • Electrical, water and chemical hazards present in the working environment.
  • Work includes exposure to equipment with moving components and spending 8 hours a shift on your feet.
  • The ability to move from one area to another may require stepping over and/or bending under objects.
