Content Insights Analyst

Location: North Ryde

We are currently recruiting a Content Insights Analyst, to join our Content Audience & Performance team within our Entertainment group.

Reporting to the Content Insights Manager, this role will be responsible for providing relevant, timely and accurate audience data used by the business to inform content-related decisions across the business to drive improved business performance.

In this role you’ll work across a wide range of exciting projects that guide key decision making and make a real difference in driving the performance of the Content division and wider business including:

  • Manage the ongoing production of audience measurement including tasks such as maintenance of post logs, channel changes, program changes, etc.

  • Use TV ratings software, Tableau, SQL, Excel and other software as necessary, to access and analyse a range of data sources

  • Deliver timely and accurate audience data for daily/weekly/quarterly/etc. reports for a range of stakeholders across the Foxtel Group

  • Interpret audience data and clearly articulate its meaning and implications for business stakeholders

  • Contribute to preparation of presentations demonstrating insights, and

  • recommendations.

  • Liaise with content teams on performance and insight requirements, including attending briefing meetings to develop project objectives and requirements

  • Establish and maintain strong working relationships with a range of internal stakeholders (e.g. Content, Strategy, Commercial, Marketing, etc.).

About you

  • 1-2 years similar experience within TV/Broadcast or Media

  • TV ratings analytical software applications e.g. Arianna, Fusion, Techedge, Elastic/Kibana highly desirable

  • Passion for data driven solutions and how they can shape a better customer experience by providing meaningful audience data and insights

  • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables

  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft PowerPoint

  • Intermediate skills in Tableau

  • Basic skills in SQL

  • Comfortable working within a fast-paced environment, able to prioritise effectively across multiple projects and be agile to move with adjusting targets
