Location: North Little Rock, AR

Shift Information: 2nd Shift (Monday – Friday - 2 pm – 10:30 pm)

Position Overview/ Position Responsibilities:

As a Clerk - Shipping you will be responsible for ensuring that all shipping documents and functions are completed accurately and on time, develops outbound freight schedules and communicates with internal/external customers as required with heavy interaction with the Transportation Department. Ensures accurate flow of communication between L’Oréal and freight carriers.

What We Are Looking For:

  • High school diploma required.

  • Two plus years’ experience in a shipping environment.

    Nice to have:

  • Experience with Microsoft Excel and Word.

  • RF scanning experience, preferred.

  • SAP experience.

    Full Job Description:

    Responsibilities include but are not limited to the below listing:

    Outbound Freight

  • Work with the Transportation Specialist, schedule outbound freight to comply with the warehouse operations and capacities.

  • Ensure proper labels and tickets have been applied before shipping; maintain good security habits at dock doors; assist in loading and unloading trucks when necessary; operate forklift as needed.

  • Communicates scheduled pick up with carriers based on outbound shipments.

  • Prioritizes and coordinates with MMSII to ensure on time ship is executed.

    Safety

  • Maintain a clean, neat and orderly work area.

  • Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse.

  • Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety.

  • Comply with OHSA and other applicable standards.

  • Reports issues and problems to Management

  • Ensure that safety/housekeeping regulations are met and that all employees are working in a safe environment.

    Documentation

  • Ensure the accuracy of all shipping documents both domestically and internationally.

  • Gather and maintain all data and records relative to shipping activities.

  • Enter data into systems.

  • Ensure that packaging counts match picking documents.

  • Assist in resolving any discrepancies.
