Summary:

North Central Middle School is seeking a full-time Middle School Electives Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching a variety of elective courses to middle school students. The ideal candidate will have experience working with middle school students and a passion for teaching.

Responsibilities:

• Teach a variety of elective courses to middle school students

• Develop and implement lesson plans that align with state standards

• Assess student learning and provide feedback to students and parents/guardians

• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a positive learning environment

• Attend staff meetings and professional development opportunities

• Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress and upcoming events

• Maintain accurate records of student attendance and grades

  Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in education or related field

• Valid teaching certification

• Experience teaching middle school students

• Knowledge of state standards and curriculum development

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff

• Enthusiasm for teaching and a passion for working with middle school students.
