In this position, you will operate and maintain automated powder coating equipment, ensuring precise application and adherence to quality standards. Your responsibilities will include setting up machines, inspecting parts for defects, performing routine maintenance, and troubleshooting any issues that arise. Responsibilities

• Operate automated powder coating equipment for metal products.

• Set up and adjust machines to meet coating specifications.

• Inspect parts for surface defects before coating.

• Ensure even coating application and meet quality standards.

• Maintain and clean coating equipment regularly.

• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and production issues.

• Adhere to safety protocols for handling hazardous materials.

• Perform quality checks on finished products for thickness and adhesion.

• Keep records of production and maintenance activities.

• Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines.

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment

• wearing steel toe shoes

• working in a non-temperature controlled environment

• manual lifting up to 50lbs

• working up to 4 hrs of overtime per week
