Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Design Project Manager to join an engineering and construction services company located in North Haven, CT. They would be on projects including transportation; land development; urban infill and redevelopment; municipal infrastructure and community projects; green infrastructure; renewable energy; educational facilities; climate resiliency; and more.

Under the general direction of our New England Region Manager, you will lead an outstanding staff while you plan, direct, and coordinate activities related to multiple transportation, site/civil, and infrastructure projects. You will take the lead during proposal development, design, permitting, and construction administration for an array of transportation, site development, infrastructure, and community projects; mentor and train less experienced engineers; prepare permit applications and meet with permitting agencies; present at public hearings; and manage project design teams. You will support business development and staff recruitment activities and maintain positive client relationships. In this role, you will also be responsible for client and internal communications and maintaining the high standards of work we produce through the Quality Assurance/Quality Control.

Skills and Requirements

-15+ years of experience in design related roles and 2+ years of experience as a leader

-Bridge and Highway design experience

-Strong AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and HydroCAD

-CT DOT Experience -Has developed a team of design engineers null
