TEKsystems Account Manager - Sales Representative in North Haven, Connecticut
Job Overview
The Account Manager is responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction, delivering positive financial results, and managing the sales cycle from inception to completion. This role is critical to the success of the organization. Base Salary + Commission
Key Responsibilities
Revenue Generation: Identify, pursue, and capture new revenue opportunities; promote revenue growth and deepen relationships with existing clients.
Business Strategies: Develop new business strategies based on market conditions and emerging trends.
Client Engagement: Initiate contact with prospective clients, execute consistent follow-up, build relationships with influencers, partners, and industry contacts, and attend networking events.
Sales Process: Prepare quotations and RFP responses, provide proposals, manage a balanced portfolio of hardware, software, and service solutions, and ensure timely and accurate sales forecasts.
Project Coordination: Coordinate with internal teams to deliver superior project outcomes, confirm client satisfaction at project completion, and deliver final documentation and training.
Service Agreements: Maintain and renew service level agreements, execute new client applications, and capture customer deposits.
Compliance: Follow guidelines for order submission, credit, and collections policies, and conduct business under normal terms and conditions.
Special Projects: Perform special projects as assigned.
Knowledge Requirements
Maintain professional certifications and training required.
Seek out training opportunities and professional development to increase value to clients, partners, and coworkers.
Skills
Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
Strong presentation, problem-solving, negotiation, time management, decision-making, and multitasking skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially PowerPoint and Excel, and other Microsoft web-based applications (CRM).
Attributes

Attitude and Learning: Having a good attitude and a willingness to learn is important.
Qualifications
BA/BS degree preferred.
At least 1 year of sales experience preferred.
Travel: This role requires local travel, but mileage is reimbursed.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $35.00/hr.
