As a Merchandising Assistant, you are responsible for supporting the Independent Merchandising team with various retail duties such as customer support, program implementation, data integrity and reporting.

Job Description

• Full Time, Hybrid Role - Post Training

• Location: North Hatfield, MA

You will contribute by:

• Supporting the Category Merchandisers to assist them in their weekly tasks, inclusive of data reports, weekly ad promotions, and vendor meeting recaps. Strong communication with customers, sale associates and the procurement team.

• Coordinating Vendor contracts through a formal deal management program. Working with the manufacturing community to ensure that we have the most up to date information for promotional programs for our customers. Managing the deal program and coordinating with ad planners to upload the promotional activity.

• Coordinating all future data information submitted by the manufacturing community. Help facilitate all upcoming deals, customized pricing, confirming we have strong integrity with our customer base.

• Responsibilities include the creation of product surveys and special promotional programs, gathering return data from the stores and coordinating information to book the product and enter distributions in the system.

• Responsible for monitoring inventory and communicating with merchandising and procurement any issues of concern.

• Communicating with the Sales team and customers on a daily basis to support their needs. Ensure we have high data quality, in any output to the customers. Review various cost compare reports to ensure there is no variance in the pricing we have with our customer.

• Running various data reports and inventory tracking for promotional ads, surveys, store participation and credit reports. Understand and validate cost mismatches between C&S and Customer.
