Job Description

The Digital Lab Email Specialist is part of the Channel Platform and Content Optimization Digital Lab team and will be responsible for creating and routing iterative email content for Consumer and AbbVie Patient Services marketing teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Create iterative email content for A/B tests using our email content creation platform by leveraging existing emails, cloning the existing emails, and building test and learn content to improve our engagement rates

  • Share email content testing ideas with marketing to gain alignment prior to submitting for review

  • Partner with the appropriate creative agency when any design files need updating

  • Route emails that have been created through the Material Review Process to gain approval before handoff to the Marketing Automation team. This includes serving as Project originator for review process and functional testing in highly regulated environment.

  • Execute email proofs from marketing automation platform to ensure email creative is functioning properly

  • Write velocity scripting when needed for emails with dynamic content

  • Maintain email inventory (templates and modules) for brands you’re supporting

  • Provide email content creation tool and/or process enhancement ideas to the email product owner to inform the email capability roadmap

  • Escalate email content tool platform issues to the Email Product Owner

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Business or Marketing.

  • 3-5 years of experience of Email Marketing Experience, creating, building, and executing emails

  • Digital marketing or interactive agency experience is a plus

  • Ability to think strategically with a strong ability to execute and exceed stakeholder expectations and project goals.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Knowledge of email with HTML/CSS experience and email rendering tools (ie. Litmus, etc.)

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate with both business and technical individuals effectively.
