Job Description

As ab Associate Director-BTS AEI Patient Relationship Solutions, you’ll have opportunities to help drive a digital transformation of a leading biopharma company, helping to create solutions that impact patients and their communities for the better.

In this role you’ll be responsible for:

  • Leading a team of AbbVie Team Members and Contractors through the planning and implementation of transformative solutions that accelerate AEI’s Patient Relationship Management strategies.

  • Initiating and Planning IT Projects: Works with Strategic Business and Executive IT management to establish project goals and business cases. Helps set strategic IT direction via multi-year roadmaps that deliver next-gen capabilities for internal & external stakeholders.

  • Overseeing a project portfolio and driving the team through project execution & closure, ensuring that authorized resources are obtained to make certain that all activities are performed. Gather lessons learned and obtain final project approval from sponsor and stakeholders.

  • Managing the team through combination of Waterfall & AGILE project methodologies to deliver transformative solutions for stakeholders in a timely & effective manner.

  • Providing clear project communication via status reports and decision-supporting documentation to Project Team, Division, Cross Division and Executive management. Makes recommendations based on current project status to resolve issues.

  • Partnering cross-functionally across AEI & BTS to manage the day-to-day backlog of PRM enhancements & bugs to ensure continuous capability enablement in a timely manner and with a high level of quality.

  • Developing & coaching team members to help drive ongoing professional development to advance the team’s capabilities & growth.

  • Salesforce HealthCloud Suite

  • Jira & Confluence Delivery tools

  • Best practices for leading Waterfall & Agile delivery teams

  • Compliance with applicable corporate & divisional policies & procedures

  • Communication between cross-functional business & Technology teams & Sr. Leadership

  • Roadmap, innovation, and vision creation skillsets

Qualifications

Experiences that make you a strong candidate for this role:

Required

  • Bachelors Degree +9 years of related experience, Master Degree + 8 years of related experience, PhD + 4 years of related experience. Degree in Business, Computer Science or related discipline preferred

  • Demonstrated expertise in business system analysis, business relationship management, and application development delivery.

  • Proficiency leading AGILE & Waterfall Project methodologies

  • Experience in Salesforce and/or PRM systems, Jira, and Confluence toolsets.

Beneficial

  • Demonstrated leadership of FTEs & Contractors

  • Familiarity with Performance Analytics toolsets like Qlik & PowerBI
