R&D Operations Internship Overview

The R&D Operations (RDO) Graduate Internship offers interns the opportunity to gain insight into the development and execution of clinical trials and business critical projects in asset management. It provides a comprehensive view of the teams and activities that support these trials and projects through strategic oversight, project management, and analytical capabilities, enhancing the planning, execution, and reporting processes. Through this internship, students gain first-hand experience with different functional areas and roles across the organization, further enhancing their opportunity for professional growth and development.
Examples of potential project work:
Assisting with strategic initiatives and study start-up activities, including assessing digital health technologies.
Providing project management support, timeline tracking, and cross-functional collaboration in various sub-specialties such as Business Insights, Clinical Site Management, and Data & Statistical Sciences.
Developing tools and automating data tracking for Study Management Associates, along with conducting operational analytics and performance data analysis.
Collaborating on strategic initiatives, change management, Lean Six Sigma process creation and improvement projects, capability building and overall project management support across the Planner Group, Deliverable Team Group, Performance Analytics and Operations and Strategic Priorities.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Currently enrolled in university, pursuing a Master’s, PharmD, or PhD in a STEM discipline, Business, Analytics, Nursing, Health Sciences, or related degree.
Expected graduation date between December 2025 and June 2026
Proven track record of teamwork, adaptability, innovation, and integrity
Excellent communication, leadership, project management, problem-solving, and analytical skills
Experience with Microsoft Excel or other database tools is a plus
