We are looking for a talented Controls Technician to join our team specializing in Siemens Automation for our Cummins Turbo Plant in Ladson, South Carolina.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

· Comprehensive knowledge applied to performing skilled activities which support manufacturing business needs.

· Works with relevant functions to select and utilize appropriate resources, tools, machinery, and specialty equipment.

· Thoroughly understands the protocols of working safely with electricity and other energy sources with industrial equipment.

· Performs work in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operation manuals and specifications using various tools, measuring, and testing instruments.

· Fully proficient performing skilled activities expected by their roles in accordance with defined roles and responsibilities.

· Leads and coordinates others acting as a formal resource for team members with less capability.

· Performs and documents preventive, emergency, corrective and predictive maintenance activities.

· Participates actively with local Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) teams in ways to improve quality, safety, process, material flow, and employee development.

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary rate commensurate with experience. RESPONSIBILITIES

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

· Controls Safety - Recognizes controls related hazards in a manufacturing environment (Electrical, Hydraulic, Pneumatic) to incorporate safe practices and procedures as part of the daily work plan to reduce injuries and create a safe machine environment.

· Manufacturing Knowledge - Demonstrates the knowledge of manufacturing by correctly implementing changes in current processes, equipment, and applications to meet the function's needs and contribute towards continuous improvement.

· Ensures accountability - Holding self and others accountable to meet commitments.

· Manages complexity - Making sense of complex, high quantity, and sometimes contradictory information to effectively solve problems.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education, Licenses, Certifications

· High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.

· This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Experience

· Significant work experience and in-depth knowledge obtained through specialized training and relevant experience.

· Additional information – SIEMENS EXPERIENCE PREFERRED

· Experience with basic electrical systems (e.g., starters, fuses, contacts, relays).

· Experience with compressors/hydraulics systems (e.g., hydraulic presses).

· Experience with conveyers (air cylinders, diverters, sensors, motor/speed controls).

· Experience with electrical systems (installation, frequency drive, troubleshooting)

· Experience with electronics (e.g., level probes, flow meters, drives/VFDs, etc.).

· Experience with kinematics (e.g., line speed/sprocket size ratios, etc.).

· Experience with PLC (e.g., industrial maintenance, computer control systems, etc.).

· Experience with pneumatics (solenoids, cylinders, motor brakes, reading, troubleshooting).

· Experience with preventative maintenance (computerized preventative charts/data).

· Experience with schematics (e.g., electrical blueprints with switches, starters, maps, relays).

· Experience with SERVO (e.g., intelligent/robotic motors, in-coders, etc.)

· Experience with troubleshooting (e.g., diagnostics, problem solving, etc.).

· Experience working in team-based environments (working together with other
