What You Will Do

  • JOB SUMMARY

Deliver accurate demand forecasts through the refinement and development of advanced models. Identify key business challenges affecting short-term and long-term strategic product, category, and market forecasts. Constantly seek insights into forecasting and sales drivers, automate existing systems, and consistently enhance the precision and efficiency of the forecasting models

  • WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Lead development and drive performance of Associate Forecasting & Insights Manager to meet the responsibilities and requirements of demand planning process

  • Develop accurate and reliable demand forecasts utilizing forecasting tools and best-in-class processes based on historical sales data, customer ordering behavior, competitive insights, and market trends

  • Drive process of integrating forecast into internal systems for sales and operations planning and finance

  • Lead collaboration with Marketing, Sales, Finance, Order Services, IT and Operations to ensure the appropriate fulfilment of the Supply Chain network at the SKU and warehouse level to minimize out of stocks and working capital, including special SKU initiatives and launch planning.

  • Guide the design and lead presentation of forecast to cross-functional teams, identifying risks and/or upsides to the forecast and utilizing impactful visualizations to drive the conversation.

  • Drive improvement to forecasting capabilities by identifying and implementing efficiency opportunities in current forecasting and demand planning process, including continuedadvancement and automation of models

  • Lead forecasting transformation and support migration of forecasting tools and systems from current state to new platforms (i.e., Unify, etc.).Understand current systems and steps necessary to transition to new system(s), considering the capability, requirements, and limitations of new system(s) and the needs of the Company.

  • Design and drive demand planning role in S&OP process in collaboration with supply chain and other cross functional partners

  • Adopt elevated responsibilities as active member of Commercial Development leadership team, providing clarity on potential impacts business decisions have on demand planning and supply chain capabilities

  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, Business Analytics, Finance or related field of study and 7+ years related work experience and 3+ years of supervisory experience

  • Must be 21 years of age or older

  • Experience:

  • Supply chain in consumer goods (fast moving) industry

  • ECC, SAP, APO/DP, Business Warehouse

  • APICS certification

Knowledge of:

  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Teams)

Skilledin:

  • Verbal and written communication

  • Attention to detail

  • Problem/situation analysis

  • Effective time and task management

  • Multitasking capabilities

  • Flexibility and adaptability

Ability to:

  • Communicate to a broad and diverse audience

  • Plan, organize, prioritize, and manage projects or programs

  • Prioritize assignments, workload, and manage time accordingly

  • PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 10+ years of experience

  • Experience with Noodle AI and/or Blue Yonder

Work Environment and Physical Demand

  • Requires light physical effort. Occasionally lifts or moves light objects (under 10 lbs.).

  • Walks, sits, or stands for prolonged periods.

  • Requires prolonged machine operation including computer and keyboard equipment.
